Your Community
The theme of the Gen X: Gender Excellence learning community is "Where academics meet activism". The GenX learning community will show you how to apply what you are learning in the classroom to the real world around you.
This will be accomplished by introducing you to campus organizations, campus activities, and to a variety of volunteer/activism opportunities in the Charlotte community. Speakers will be brought into the classroom and GenX members will have an opportunity to meet the leaders and work on several exciting projects.
